Q2 |
Can I use my standard mobile phone? |
Yes, as long as it has a connection facility and data enabled service or SIM card. To find out if your SIM card or mobile contract has data enabled connection, contact your mobile service provider and ask. The data enabled function can in most cases be activated by simple request by phone to the service provider. However, in some cases your mobile provider might need to supply you with a new SIM card.

Q3 |
Can I use mailSpeed when I am connected to the LAN in my office? |

Yes, your computer can detect when a connection is available and configured to "dial whenever a network is not present". In that way, the switch from mobile to fixed connection is automatic and transparent to you.

Q4 |
How do I connect my mobile phone to my laptop? |
There are several methods available and depend on the mobile phone to be used. The connection can be through a cable directly from phone to lap-top (or notebook), or via Infra Red connection, or using Blue Tooth technology. If you want a separate phone for your computer, we recommend a "PCcard phone" which slides into the PC card slot (PCMCIA) of the laptop. In that way the "phone" is connected to the laptop at all times. For handset connections and handset issues in general, we recommend that you contact your handset supplier.
