Save money when visiting Sri Lanka with this Pay as you go SIM card, which comes with airtime worth approximately GB£5. There is a low cost of about GB£0.02 per minute to receive phone calls while in Sri Lanka and calls to Sri Lankan numbers and "back home" are much less expensive than using your mobile phone abroad.

It is free to receive SMS and costs GB£0.02 to send them to other Sri Lankan mobiles, and similar to send to international ones.

NB: you must have an unlocked phone to use this prepaid Sri Lankan SIM card. We offer SIM free phones, specially selected for their suitability for international travel.

Your SIM card activates when you make your first outbound call in Sri Lanka. Once your pay asyou go SIM card is activated, you also will be able to receive incoming calls.

Your Sri Lankan phone number is printed on the instruction leaflet which comes with the SIM card.

Customer service can be reached free by calling 777 using your Sri Lankan prepaid SIM card.

Topping Up: You can buy a top up voucher at one of the many authorised Sri Lankan Dialog outlets to top up your prepaid SIM card. Then key in *#102*123 followed by the top up voucher pin number and *# then press CALL (or "send" on some phones).

You can check your account balance by calling *102#

For friends to call you, your number will start +94 (for Sri Lanka) - and the telephone number of your Sri Lankan pay as you go SIM card. To make an international call, dial the "+" symbol and the country code (e.g. 44 for the UK) followed by the area code (minus the leading "0") and the phone number.
