Save money when visiting Hong Kong with this Pay as you go SIM card, which includes £11/€16 airtime, which will buy approximately 130 minutes of local calls. There is small cost of $0.04 to receive phone calls while in Hong Kong and calls to Hong Kong numbers and "back home" are much less expensive than using your mobile phone abroad.

It is free to receive SMS, $0.13 to send an SMS to another Hong Kong mobile, and $0.39 to an international one.

NB: you must have an unlocked phone to use this Hong Kong prepaid SIM card. We offer SIM free phones, specially selected for their suitability for international travel.

To activate your New 2G International Hong Kong SIM, key in ##123# then press the call button: an automated response confirms activation. Once you done this, you can make and receive calls.

Your new Hong Kong phone number is indicated on the back of the instruction leaflet.

Customer service can be reached by dialling 21211228 from your Hong Kong mobile.

Topping Up: Buy a voucher from one of the many authorised Hong Kong New 2G International outlets to top up your Hong Kong prepaid SIM card. Key in ##122* followed by the 16-digit top-up voucher code, followed by # , and then press the call button: an automated response will tell you your new balance. Alternatively, dial the number of your Sim-card and follow the instructions.

You can check your account balance by keying in ##122# and then press the call button, or call 1750175 then 2 and follow the voice instructions.

For friends to call you, your number will start +852 (for Hong Kong) and the rest of your phone number. To make an international call, dial the "+" symbol and the country code (e.g. 44 for the UK).
