TIM "Free to Go" Greek Prepaid SIM card, GSM 900 / 1800
Save money when visiting Greece with this Pay as you go SIM card, which includes €8 airtime, which will buy approximately 22 minutes of local calls. There is NO cost to receive phone calls while in Greece and calls to Greek numbers and "back home" are much less expensive than using your mobile phone abroad.

It is free to receive SMS, €0.07 to send an SMS to a Greek mobile, and €0.14 to an international one.

NB: you must have an unlocked phone to use this Greek pay as you go SIM card. We offer SIM free phones, specially selected for their suitability for international travel.

Your TIM "Free 2 Go" Greek SIM card is activated when you log on to the TIM network in Greece and make your first call. Once you have made your first call, you can then receive inbound calls.

Your new Greek phone number is indicated on the envelope of the SIM card and appears under the bar code on the right of the security sticker and starts with 693 xxxxxxx . You also receive full instructions in English.

Customer service can be reached by dialling 1260 from your Free2Go Greek mobile.

Topping Up: Buy a voucher from one of the many Greek TIM outlets. Call 1268 and follow the instructions and enter the 16 digit top-up voucher code or simply send an SMS with the refill voucher code to 1268 which only costs €0.04. You can check your account balance by calling 1269 and following the instructions.

For friends to call you, your number will start +30 (for Greece) 693 (for TIM) and the rest of your phone number. To make an international call, dial either 00 or the "+" symbol and the country code (e.g. 44 for the UK).
