How to get FREE international calls

Here's a wonderful way in which you can potentially make international calls from your mobile absolutely free of charge. You will at least get the "international leg" free.

1 - Check the Country List

Check that the country you wish to call is in the list of countries where service is available.

2 - Register a number

Register the phone number of a friend in the country you want to call to. The computer will generate a local number for you to call for that friend. Remember to save it in your address book.

3 - Use Your New Number

Use the new number to call your friend and chat for a fraction of your normal international rate. For this, you will need to buy some local talk time credit. But ou can then use the credit to call around the world.

4 - Make the International "bit" free

Now let's make the international part of the mobile phone call FREE. Call your friend using the new number and just follow the next step with them. It may sound weird, but it works!

5 - Explain to your friend

When you get through, ask your friend to look at the number displayed on their screen. You stay on the line, but ask them to call you straight back on the local number displayed (they'll also get a text with the number to ensure they get it right).

6 - Start talking FREE

A few seconds later, they'll join you on the line again and you can carry on your call. You are now both making local calls, and the international part is FREE. If you both have free minutes bundles, then your international call is completely free of charge.
