There's
a simple trick to making cheap mobile phone calls without
having to keep dialing both the access number and the international
number every time you use the service.
Here's how:
Simply add a pause between the access number and the international
number you wish to dial:
Eg: You want to make a cheap mobile
phone call to Mum in Australia. So, you create a new entry called
'Mum' in the address book on your mobile and then when entering
the number:
1. Enter our "just
dial" access number -
ie 0207 124 6666
2. Enter a 'pause'.
This is done as follows depending on your brand of mobile
Nokia Phones:
A 'p' should appear after * has been pressed 3 times: ie 0207
124 6666 (*** will show a 'p')
Motorola / Ericsson
/ Sony / Sony Ericsson Phones:
A 'p' should appear after * has been pressed and held.
Siemens/Panasonic Phones:
A '+' should appear after 0 has been pressed and held.
3. Now enter your
international destination number in full including 00 and press
save.
That's it - next time you want to make a cheap
mobile phone call to 'Mum', simply find mum in your phone's memory
and press call!
