GETS ITC CLIENT BASE. CONSULTANTS PRAISED
Jeff
Barber, Financial Director of Manchester telecoms resellers, REMS,
today confirmed that his company has agreed to purchase the client
base of Lancashire firm, ITC, a reseller of Norweb Telecom.
Barber
saw this first acquisition as a kick start to REMS' significant
growth plans which included a balanced mixture of acquisitions
and organic growth.
"We
have acquired not only a client base but an important carrier
relationship as well as billing and direct debiting facilities."
he said.
REMS
appointed telecoms business development consultancy, Orate Ltd.,
was praised for its role in the acquisition.
"It
was Orate who brought the acquisition to our attention," Barber
points out, "and their advice during the negotiations was invaluable."
REMS
now plans to ensure complete integration of this new client base
amongst their existing business, and then expand their marketing
efforts to the affinity groups which they are serving.
