Activating your service

Simply call Orange on 0800 079 0006 from another phone and they will activate your phone and credit your £5 worth of free talk time. (Valid for 30 days from registration only).

Adding talk time

There are two ways to top up:

1. Without vouchers, using a credit or debit card

There's no need to buy vouchers as you can buy more time using your Orange phone. Simply call 450 from your Orange phone or 07973 100 450 from a landline and select option 3. Key in your 4 digit ID number and your registered credit or debit card details and talk time will be added to your balance immediately. To register up to 2 credit or debit cards, dial 450 from your Orange phone and select option 4.

2. With a top up card

    You can buy vouchers at supermarkets and stores, petrol stations, post offices and specialist mobile phone dealerships, but one of the simplest ways to top up is to find an outlet displaying the “top up” logo. On your first visit, you will acquire a top up swipe card. Before you can use your card for the first time you need to register it to your Orange phone. Then every time you swipe your card the talk time is automatically credited to your Orange phone.

Registering your Orange Top-up Card is simple, all you need to do is:

• have your Orange Top-up Card and the phone number of your Orange phone to hand

• then, call 450 free from your Orange phone or 07973 100 450 from any other phone

• choose the option to link your Top-up Card with an Orange phone

• you will be asked to type in the 12 digit number which is on the front of your card and the number of the Orange phone you want register the card to

You can start using your card as soon as your registration is complete. You only have to register once.

To top up, all you need to do is

• hand over your card at a participating outlet and tell the retailer how much talk time you’d like to buy

• the retailer will take your payment, swipe your card and give you back your card with a receipt

You will probably find that your card has been topped up before you even leave the shop!

Choice of tariff

The default tariff provides for a peak period from 07:00 to 19:00. If, however, you change the peak period from 07:00 to 23:00 on weekdays, you can choose to have 1 off-peak period during the day.

If you wish to make use of this different tariff, simply call 450 on your Orange phone to make the change.

Service Life

If you don't use your phone for a period of 6 months, and find yourself disconnected, phone 0800 079 0008 to reconnect. Orange will reinstate you with any unused talk time but will assign you a new number.
