Adding talk time

There are several different ways of adding talk time:

1. talk time may be added by purchasing vouchers at large numbers of shops,  petrol stations, or post offices. To redeem your voucher simply call 133 from your mobile phone, and follow the brief instructions in Spanish.

2. Top up via the internet, going to the following URL: http://www.airtel.es/formula/comorecargar/default.asp and click on the button marked “recarga inmediata”

3. Credit card: call (free of charge) 132 from your Airtel phone and top up using Visa or Mastercard.

4. WAP: if you have a WAP phone, you can provide your credit card details over a secure link. Log onto Airtel Conect@ and go to the “Personal” section. Here you will find a form where you can provide your credit card details. It costs 20 ptas to set up the call and then 16 pesetas per minute.

5. you can visit a Telecor outlet in the El Corte Ingles stores or Airtel’s own shops and add from 1,000 to 25,000 pesetas to your account.

Vouchers expire after 9 months.  Your number will remain allocated to you for 12 months from the last top up.

Domestic Rates

There are four different calling plans for your Airtel “Fórmula” prepaid SIM card. However, the “fórmula 20” tariff has the lowest charges for European calls, as well as a good rate for national calls inside Spain, so we strongly recommend that tariff. By default, the Airtel Fórmula SIM is set to the Fórmula 20 tariff.

Fórmula 20

There is a call set up charge of 20 pesetas. The first minute is billed in full, and subsequent air time is billed in 30 second increments.

You can change tariff if you wish. The first change is free of charge, subsequent changes are billed at 1000 Pesetas. To change tariff, dial 123 free of charge from your phone with the Airtel Fórmula SIM active. After the short message, enter *135* followed by the code of the tariff you wish to change to:

            1          Fórmula – tiempo libre

            2          Fórmula - provincial

            3          Fórmula - viva

            4          Fórmula - 20

International Rates

Fórmula 20 is particularly good for calls inside Europe:

There is a call set up charge of 50 pesetas. The first minute is billed in full, thereafter talk time is billed in increments of 30 seconds.

Service Life

If you have not added Talk Time within 9 months, your credit will be lost. If you do not add Talk Time within a further 3 months, your number will be disconnected.
