Activating your service

Be sure that battery is charged
Put the MTN SIM card into the mobile phone
Turn on your phone and enter the PIN code
Dial 555
Scratch the surface of the Pay As You Go voucher to reveal the code
Follow instructions and when prompted enter the voucher code
After confirming the voucher code hang up
Start calling

Adding talk time

Additional Talk time may be added by purchasing vouchers at any shop or petrol station displaying the logo. To redeem your voucher simply call 555 from your mobile phone and confirm the voucher code, hang up and start talking.

When loading more Pay As You Go cards, all airtime minutes will be added to the balance remaining on your account - you do not need to use up the full outgoing call value within the access period. Access time can be accumulated up to a maximum of 24 months at any one time.

Domestic Rates

Calls are charged for a minimum of 60 seconds for the first minute (or part minute) and after the first minute at intervals of 30 seconds for each half minute or part half-minute.

Service Life

If you don't receive or make calls within six months, your mobile phone number will be withdrawn from the network.

Access time can be accumulated up to a maximum of 24 months at any one time.
