You should buy your Praktikum cards only in Pannon GSM showrooms or regional service centres, or in authorised Pannon GSM dealer outlets. Pannon GSM does not accept and does not buy back returned Praktikum cards. Replacement of damaged, lost or stolen Praktikum cards is not possible. Take the following steps to top up your Praktikum SIM card:
You have now topped up your phone and it is ready for use. As soon as your credit balance gets down to HUF 360, you will receive an SMS in Hungarian telling you the balance on your card is less than HUF 360. You can top up your card by calling 920 0300 or 171. In addition, you will hear a short warning tone during your calls (depending on the type and setting of your handset). As soon as the balance on your card is spent, the phone connection will be cut off and the only calls you will be able to make are to 171 until you have topped up your card. If you make a call and the remaining balance is too low to cover the first half minute, the call will not go through, and you will hear a message prompting you to call 171 to top up your card. Service LifeThe SIM card and its associated number are valid for 12 months after the date of the last top up. If you do not top up your SIM card during this period, your number and any credit will expire. If you then wish to have service again, you will need to purchase another SIM card and will be issued with a new GSM phone number.
