Coverage Area

The map shows the coverage area of ONE in Austria, in which you can both make and receive calls. The network operator is continually striving to expand and enhance the area covered. The use of a 1 Watt phone out of doors is assumed.

Whilst the operator tries to be as accurate as possible with their details, there are bound to be computer based variances in the illustration. Radio frequencies, tunnels, wooded areas and certain types of building can affect the quality of your reception.

Activating your service

• Be sure that your mobile phone’s battery is charged

• Put the “One” SIM card into the mobile phone

• Turn on your phone and dial 72 700 from your mobile phone

• You will be given the choice of changing your tariff model and to load your initial credit worth ATS 500.

• Start calling

Adding talk time

Additional talk time may be added by purchasing ATS 200 or ATS 500 vouchers (approx £9 / €14.60 and £22.50 / €36.34 respectively)  at one of more than 4500 shops and 2000 petrol stations. To redeem your voucher, simply do the following:

• Scratch off the security coating over the voucher number and PIN number.

• Using your ONE phone, dial 72 700, and follow the German instructions which will ask you to enter both the voucher number followed by # and the PIN number followed by #

• The value of the voucher will be credited to your phone about 1 minute later.

Vouchers expire 12 months after loading.

Domestic Rates

Calls to your ONE mail box cost the same as other calls, i.e. ATS 8 peak and ATS 3 off peak. It costs ATS3 to send an SMS at any time of day. These prices include Austrian VAT at 20% and are valid from 2^nd April to 30^th September 2001.

International Rates

These rates are per minute inclusive of Austrian VAT and are billed per second.

Service Life

Your “Take One Dreizeit” SIM card is valid for one year from the date of the last top up.  If you do not top up again within 12 months, you will lose the number and any credit left on the prepaid SIM.

To check the level of your credit, you can send an SMS from your “One” phone to the number 177, with the text message “GUT” and you will receive a return SMS advising you of the balance remaining.
