Activating your service

Be sure that the battery is charged
Put the Optus SIM card into the mobile phone
Turn on your phone and dial 555 from your mobile phone
An Optus operator will then fully activate your service
Start calling

Adding talk time

Additional talk time may be added by purchasing vouchers at any shop or petrol station displaying the logo. To redeem your voucher simply call 555 from your mobile phone, follow the brief instructions and then start talking.

Vouchers expire after 3 months. However, if within 3 months you recharge your airtime, then all remaining call credit will be carried forward.

Between 7pm and midnight every day of the week any Ozitalk mobile customers can call each other FREE for the first 20 minutes per call within Australia.
